Looks like we might need to plan a roadtrip up to Minneapolis! @ryojiikeda superposition performance walkerart.org/calendar/2014/…
Pretty Light’s annual two-night run at Red Rocks has gotten more and more elaborate over the years, and this year was no exception. There was a feeling of achievement amongst the entire crew this year; sound, lights, and video all outdid themselves.
Every element of the show took a bold step forward this year, musically and visually. Recap coming soon.
For our part, we pushed the limits of what you could do with a live video crew inputing into a uniquely programmed video show. Months of work on systems and content combined into a truly special show for us.
Keep an eye out for the recap video, coming soon.
Look out for RadioEditAV bringing live visuals to Chicago’s North Coast Festival. North Coast is a three day festival in Chicago’s Union Park featuring an eclectic array of performers from the legendary rap stylings of The Wu-Tang Clan -performing their classic album 36 Chamber in full- to current festival favorites like Big Gigantic and Purity Ring.
Come check our crew at the Last Stand Stage putting out fresh visuals behind every performer all weekend
It is always a welcome challenge for the team to provide a live visuals for a festival…working with multiple acts, criss crossing genres while keeping the pace with what is happening on stage. If it is anything like years past it will be the perfect late season festival to cap off summer in Chicago.
Its official, RadioEditAV will be doing live visuals at the second installment of Chicago’s own Spring Awakening. It is set to be Chicago’s largest all dance music event with over 75,000 fans descending on Soldier Field. With the skyline as our backdrop we look forward to taking over Da Equinox Stage and Da Drive Tent Stage for the weekend. Come out and get a feel first-hand for how we can rock a party.

Along with the rest of the known universe we at RadioEditAV were ecstatic when Daft Punk’s long awaited Random Access Memories alblum dropped. So happy in fact we decided to throw our version of a ablum release party to honor the momentous occasion. What is our version of an alblum release party, you may ask? Well, we secured an amazing artist loft in downtown Chicago for the night, rounded up every laser and light producing gadget we could find, got our resident analog live visual sensei to whip up some crazy colors, fabricated tribute helmets out of native materials, invited all our friends and our friends’ friends and danced until our legs were weak.
At an undisclosed location in the South Loop, Daft Drunk took the stage to show the crowd how the Robots would rock a loft party
It was truly amazing night highlighted by the circus styling of our eccentric hosts, there were inpromptu displays of grace and feats of strength, tasty beverages, and music by KORE-One, The Taste Testers and Chicago’s newest electronic sensation Daft Drunk. It was a seriously fun night that felt like a pagan harvest festival for the bounty of new music to bop our heads to. Thanks to our hostess Shorty, all of the performers and to Daft Punk for continuing to push music forward.
